The ‘MEMORIES’ Paperweights are inspired by memories connected to buildings and cities. Jule Cats collects the rubble of demolished houses in her hometown Rotterdam, and creates objects that show the beauty and emotional value of a waste product. The combination of contrasting materials which is used in these handmade objects, evokes wonder and curiosity and offers food for thought.
